Nestled in the heart of the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve Baa Atoll, The Nautilus Maldives offers an ultra-luxury private island experience surrounded by vibrant coral reefs, sandy beaches and the world-renowned Hanifaru Bay, a haven for manta rays and whale sharks. With just 26 ultra-luxe boho-chic houses and residences, this exclusive hideaway provides direct beach or lagoon access, ensuring ultimate privacy and seclusion.
Each spacious sanctuary is designed with an organic, bohemian flair and features ultra-luxury amenities, including personalised butler service. For added convenience, each of the houses and residences is equipped with modern comforts.
Guests at The Nautilus can unwind with bespoke wellness journeys and holistic treatments at the overwater Solasta Spa oryoga, meditation, and fitness sessions. The private island also offers an extensive range of free-spirited experiences, including both motorised and non-motorised water sports,of which can be arranged anytime, as per the guests preference.
The Nautilus features three gourmet restaurants and two lounge bars, embracing the concept of unscripted dining. Here, world-class chefs craft personalised culinary and mixology delights, allowing guests to veer off the menu and enjoy anything, anywhere, at any time—without the constraints of opening or closing times.
The Nautilus is easily accessible via a scenic 30-minute seaplane journey from Male’ International Airport or guests can enjoy a private luxury yacht transfer which takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from the airport.
The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 11:00.
The gala dinner for December 25th, and December 31st, is included in the price for adults.
The property can be reached by a private and a shared seaplane.
Private Seaplane Transfers (8 seats), valid until January 10, 2028 are as follows:
- USD 7500 per way, tofrom Velana Airport.
Shared Seaplane Transfers:
From June 17, 2025 to October 31, 2026 the charges are as follows:
- Adult (12 years and above): USD 1750 per person
- Child (2–11 years): USD 1150 per child. This rate is not included in the booking price and will be charged additionally.
The Nautilus seaplane is an 8-seat luxury aircraft with leather seats in a business-class configuration that flies directly to the Nautilus with no stops.
Please note that the above-mentioned transfer rates are not applicable for packages which include transfers.
Please share your return flight details with the property at least 72 hours before your arrival to secure your seat for the transfer.
Please note that a Green Tax of USD 6 per child, per night is applicable additionally. This tax is already calculated and included in the booking price for adults.
Child Policy:
- Extra beds can be placed in each house or residence, depending on the configuration and occupancy.

- Up to 2 children under 12 years per house or residence enjoy complimentary lunches and dinners from a special menu prepared for them if dining with a parent.

Objets d’art and décor capture the pure bohemian spirit of the island, while the mansion’s sunlit, breeze-cooled spaces promise serenity, privacy and exquisite comfort.
