Royal Island Resort Maldives - Baa

Royal Island Resort & Spa is located in Maldives’ Baa Atoll. This tropical Island overlooks the Indian Ocean and offers free Wi-Fi, a Spa and a peaceful white sandy beaches.

Guests can enjoy diving trips and sunset cruises. Those looking for more adventurous sports can try water skiing or kite surfing. Other recreational facilities include an outdoor pool, gym and tennis courts.

Built with wooden materials, Royal Island’s villas feature a private patio with sitting area and views of the Indian Ocean. Each room has a TV and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and shower.

The Royal Island Resort & Spa is a 30-minute wheeled aircraft ride from Malé International Airport. A mandatory transfer is provided by the resort, and charges are to be paid upon arrival.

The hotel day starts from hour 14:00 and ends at 12:00.

The property is accessible shared domestic flight transfers followed by a short speed boat journey, or via private seaplane transfers.

1 . Domestic Flight Transfers (Round-Trip)
USD 400.00 per adult (12 years and above) before 01-Nov-2026
USD 420.00 per adult (12 years and above) on or after 01-Nov-2026

Children (2-11 years old) will receive 50% discount on adult transfer rates.
Infants below the age of 2 can travel free of charge, unless a separate seat is requested.


2. Private Seaplane Transfers (One-Way)
6,500.00 per way per flight (maximum 12 passengers per flight)

Domestic Flight transfer takes 20 minutes from Male International Airport.

Standard Transfer Times: To reach Royal Island Resort & Spa on the same day, guests must arrive at Male International Airport before 17:00 local Male time.

Please note that the property cannot organize departure domestic flight transfers for international flights which depart prior to 0900 hours local Male time.

Arrival and departure flight details, full names, and date of birth ofguests as stated in the passport should be provided to the resort 96 hours (4 days) before arrival to arrange transfers. In case these details are communicated later than 96 hours (4 days) we may not be able to guarantee same-day connections.

Please note that a Green Tax of USD 6 per child, per night is applicable additionally. This tax is already calculated and included in the booking price for adults.

Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in making the payment at the hotel. Please note that the property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes.

Guests need to obtain permission from the resort prior to using aerial drones due to safety and privacy concerns.

The following complimentary facility(s) will be provided per [stayday] for guests booking honeymoon packages:
- A bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket (for weddings not older than 6 months, proof required at the time of booking).
- A bottle of sparkling wine and a fruit basket on silver and golden wedding anniversaries (proof required at the time of booking).

Compulsory Festive Meals:
Mandatory supplements for Christmas eve (24th December) and New Years eve (31st December) gala dinners will be charged as below.
Payment before arrival via bank transfer or payment link is required. The property will provide payment instructions after booking.
